RERA Registration: Required Documents

  • Company KYC: Promoter’s PAN & GST, Aadhaar,PAN, contact details & photos of all partners/directors.
  • Legal Documentation: Legal title report as per circular no. 28/2021 obtained from practicing advocate Agreement for Sale as per circular 60/2024 with all recent updations Allotment Letter as per circular 60/2024

FAQ's

No, a project cannot be registered with RERA solely on the basis of an IOD. To register a project with RERA, you need to have an approved sanctioned plan and a Commencement Certificate (CC) for the project.

No the title report should not be older than 6 months for it to be considered valid for registration.

The registration fees for a project with MahaRERA are determined based on the total project area (in square meters). The fee structure ranges from INR 10,000 for projects up to 1,000 sq. m. to INR 1,00,000 for projects larger than 20,000 sq. m.

A separate RERA-compliant bank account must be opened before you apply for RERA registration.

Projects that meet both of the following criteria are exempt from RERA registration:

  • Total land area is less than 500 square meters.
  • The project consists of less than 8 units (apartments or plots).
